One of the last times we were up in the Gatlinburg and Townsend Tennessee area we stopped by a beautiful lodge just outside of Townsend. The Maple Leaf Lodge is a magnificent vacation paradise that will give you the most relaxing vacation you can imagine. The picture to the left is a closeup of the beautiful mantle above the two story stone fireplace in the Lodge.
The 15,000 sq ft lodge is the main building on the property with 12 rooms and 15 additional one and two bedroom cabins surrounding the lodge. For those that stay in the lodge, you can enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast every morning in the large upstairs dining room.
As I’m writing this, I just went online and found out that the Maple Leaf Lodge was renamed the Dancing Bear Lodge.
