Hibernation Station In The Great Smoky Mountains

Hibernation Station Log Cabin RentalThe last time we went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge we stayed in Hibernation Station and we loved it. This log cabin, just 2 miles from the main Pigeon Forge Parkway is a perfect 1 bedroom getaway for a couple. The decor in this cabin is beautiful and very comfortable. When you walk in the front door and look up you will see a beautiful antler chandelier hanging from the vaulted tongue and groove ceiling as well as bear decor throughout the cabin.

Other amenities of this Pigeon Forge cabin include a beautiful view, a hot tub and Jacuzzi, 2 TV’s with cable, a gas log fireplace and more. And of course since you are only 2 miles away from the main drag in Pigeon Forge you are close to the Old Mill and Apple Barn restaurants in the downtown area.

One of the things we enjoyed while on our vacation was renting movies at the local video store and fixing a snack and just sitting back to watch a movie and enjoy the evening. Doesn’t that sound like a great vacation?

Hibernation Station rents for $125 per night at Sunset Cottage Rentals, but they are always running specials, so there’s a good chance you can get it for less. Check the web site for details.
