If you have a business that maintains a web site in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville or anywhere in Sevier County, you might be interested to know that we’ve started the Sevier County Directory that’s growing like wildfire. Best of all, you can be listed in the directory for free. That’s right, no charge. All you have to have is a business that has a physical address in Sevier County and a functioning web site.

It can be any business that would be listed in the Yellow Pages such as a cabin rental or cabin management company, a Realtor, a restaurant, a car repair business, an attorney, just about any kind of retail store, a tourist attraction, a church, a bed and breakfast or nearly anything.

A few guidelines are required though. Obviously you need to have a functioning web site that is locally based. If you are a cabin owner that rents your cabin through a management company, we will only list the management company, unless your cabin has its own specific web site with its own unique url. We don’t normally list most national franchises that have local businesses, like major hotel chains for instance. You also need to follow the prescribed protocol for submitting your web site. It is important that you follow the directions or your site may not be listed.

You might want to also check out the directory to see if your business is already listed. I add new businesses every day and very well may have yours listed already. You do have to register to submit your business and submit your business to the correct category. To do that you need to go to that specific category and submit from there.

My goal here is to build a directory for all of Sevier County for the residents and for the millions of tourists that bring their families here every year to vacation and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains recreation area.

I blogged about the 2 bedroom rental Bearly Paradise before because it caught my eye as one of the most nicely decorated cabin rentals I’ve come across in some time. And now, just to let you know, this beautiful cabin rental in Pigeon Forge has been moved to the Timber Tops Cabin Rentals company.

The owners of Bearly Paradise have put their heart and soul into decorating and fixing up this cabin so it will be the perfect getaway for you on your next Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg vacation in the Smoky Mountains. And when you stay here you will probably have a hard time deciding on what you like best about this vacation rental whether it’s the view, the log cabin decor or the great amenities.
