Gatlinburg Weddings, A Great Way Celebrate Your Special Day

Destination weddings are becoming more popular than ever today. While many people picture Hawaii, Las Vegas, or other sunny and popular destinations when they think of having a wedding somewhere, others are looking for something a little more rustic and beautiful than sandy beaches and bright lights. For these people, they often choose Gatlinburg weddings as a way to celebrate their love and to remember their special day when starting a new life together.

Once you get the wedding out of the way then you need to think of the honeymoon. Hopefully you’ve made a plan for that already. For those that want to get married and then stay in Gatlinburg, there are many honeymoon cabins around the area, situated in and around the Great Smoky Mountains, for those who are looking for a get-back-to-nature wedding and honeymoon.

Gatlinburg isn’t normally thought of for weddings, but it is a very romantic and serene environment nestled in the mountains and it is becoming more and more popular. There are hundreds of people who get married by having a Gatlinburg wedding every year. Some of these weddings are formal, while others are more casual. Even though a lot of people don’t think of it, the Smoky Mountains have become quite the place for weddings and honeymoons, which has given them the nickname of the wedding and honeymoon capital of the South. Couples who decide to marry here can do so in a chapel, in their own romantic cabin, or even in Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Come back tomorrow for more information on having a great wedding in the Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg Tennessee.
